Dr. Barbara Hodne serves as the Chief Quality Officer at the Iowa Clinic. Dr. Hodne is board-certified in family medicine and practices at The Iowa Clinic in West Des Moines, IA. Dr. Hodne chose family medicine because of her interest in developing long-term relationships with families across multiple generations, and that is what she has been doing since 1994 when she began practicing in her hometown of Manning, Iowa. Dr. Hodne has served on advisory committees for AMGA initiatives, including the Obesity Care Model Collaborative (OCMC). The OCMC is developed to pilot, refine, and evaluate a framework and necessary components to address obesity in patients served by multispecialty medical groups and integrated health systems. Dr. Hodne graduated from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Iowa Lutheran Hospital and is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
